Replace Toxic Thoughts with Healthy Ones

Coaching to replace toxic thoughts. Hands gesturing and writing.

“I am so stupid”

How often do you say that to yourself? I admit there are times when I say to myself, “wow that was so stupid”, but it is another to say “I am so stupid.” When we repeat negative thoughts about who we are, it becomes toxic. Oftentimes we say negative things about ourselves without realizing it. These "mental scripts" take root and its effect is a growing insecurity. We wonder why the same bad things keep happening to us.

Replace toxic thoughts with healthy ones.

Be conscious of the thoughts in your mind. When you hear a voice in your head saying, "I am stupid", replace it with something forgiving and life-giving like, “ya, ok maybe that was a stupid thing I did but I am not stupid. I was just not thinking (or careless or whatever else you were doing). I will do better the next time." Replace toxic thoughts with healthy ones.

Be loving to yourself.

Don't know what a healthy "loving yourself" looks like? One important thing is to forgive yourself and do something that energizes you. If you need someone to help you start the journey to live your best life, schedule a FREE Discovery Session Today.
